Embry-Riddle is fully committed to research, and our leading-edge laboratories and state-of-the-art centers allow students to connect with faculty and industry partners through sophisticated research, capstone projects and internships.

Students can work on faculty-led research projects or lead their own, supported by the university’s Office of Undergraduate Research and Undergraduate Research Institute, or through other internal research funding aimed at providing opportunities for undergraduates.

Our students work with industry and government partners on projects like:

  • Advanced propulsion systems
  • Developing new biofuels and green vehicles and aircraft
  • Improving aviation cybersecurity
  • Renewable energy sources

Embry-Riddle’s facilities on the Daytona Beach, Florida, and Prescott, Arizona, campuses are best in their class, and a selection of virtual labs is offered online through the Worldwide Campus.
