Master of Science in
Human Factors

Embry-Riddle’s Human Factors graduate program trains students to apply psychological and physiological principles to the design of systems, products and work environments. By combining psychology with engineering fundamentals, the program prepares students to improve human-machine interactions and address performance challenges. It emphasizes cognitive processes, safety and human capabilities, with thesis and non-thesis options available.

The M.S. in Human Factors teaches students to evaluate human capabilities, apply evidence-based solutions and use ergonomic principles across complex systems. As industries increasingly rely on human-technology interaction, this program strengthens the expertise to meet that demand.
