- Data Science: Employs techniques drawn from mathematics, statistics and computer sciences, providing students with a strong background in creating data insights to solve real-world problems.

- Computational Problem-Solving Lab – Our future leaders become thoroughly versed in the practicum of writing instructions to control the computers and microcontrollers that govern everyday life while framing a model of understanding to solve theoretical and practical problems in all disciplines.
- Nonlinear Waves Lab – The Wave Lab is a state-of-the-art facility for fluid dynamics and water–structure interaction research. It now supports federally funded projects, a Navy Research Labs (ONR) partnership, local industry partnerships and educational outreach, with ongoing research highlights displayed on-site.
