Bachelor of Science in
Aviation and Aerospace Safety

The Bachelor of Science in Aviation and Aerospace Safety is designed for students who are interested in improving safety in the workplace environment. Students will gain knowledge in topics ranging from safety and health management to risk assessment and occupational safety.

For students driven by ensuring safety on the ground and in the skies, this program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in safety management.

Through this degree, students learn comprehensive safety management techniques and become confident in navigating regulations set by the Federal Aviation Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Department of Transportation and other regulatory organizations.

Industry Partnerships & Accreditation

  • The Aviation and Aerospace Safety program is accredited by the ANSAC of ABET, www.abet.org, under the general criteria and the program criteria.
  • This program meets BCSP Qualified Academic Program (QAP) standards and upon graduation students will be awarded with the Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP) designation. The GSP is a fast-track path toward the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification by waiving the need to sit for, and pass, the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) examination. The curriculum also meets the Accrediting Board Engineering and Technologies (ABET) standards.
